Applied Features
After installing the rollers and clearance cage, the detachable inner ring (or outer ring) will be fixed with the shaft washer. To prevent the separation, installing the shaft washer should be simple. The clearance cage enables the friction between rollers to disappear and prevents rollers from falling on one side, obtaining a stable torque. The rollers are orthogonally arranged, so only one set of the Crossed Roller Bearings can withstand the loads from different directions. Compared with the traditional series bearing, the current series bearings have increased rigidity by three to four times.
Types
The HRA series bearing is compact, reducing the thickness of the inner and outer ring to the lowest level. With the division in the outer ring-like the HRB series bearing, the HRA series bearing is suitable for a position where the lightweight, compact style, and high-precision rotation in the inner ring are needed, such as the rotating part in a mechanical watch.
The HRB series bearing, the primary series bearing of the Crossed Roller Bearing, has the separable outer ring, and its inner ring is integrated with the main body. This series bearing is used in the part where the high-precision rotation in the inner ring is required.
Like the HRB series bearing, the HRE series bearing is also the primary series bearing of the Crossed Roller Bearing. It has the same outer dimension as the HRB series bearing, but the difference is that the HRE series bearing halves the inner ring and integrates the outer ring. It can be used in the position where the high-precision rotation in the outer ring is required.
With mounting holes on both the outer and inner rings, the HRU series bearing, the HXU series bearing, and the HXSU series bearing do not need the presser flange and the housing. In addition, because it has an integrated inner/outer ring structure and is equipped with washers, its performance is minimally affected by the mounting procedure, which can help obtain stable rotation accuracy and torque. This series bearing can be used in the rotation areas of both the outer ring and inner ring.
Like the HRB series bearing, the HSX series bearing is slim; however, it has smaller sectional dimensions. Its outer ring is detachable, while the inner ring is integrated with the main body through three fixed rings. Since the inner ring and outer ring do not have mounting holes, it requires a presser flange and housing for installation. This series bearing can be used in the areas where the inner ring requires high-precision rotation.
The HCRBH series bearing is a slim type of HRU series bearing. Without the mounting holes on both the inner ring and outer ring, it requires a presser flange and housing for the installation. In addition, because it has an integrated inner/outer ring structure and is equipped with washers, the installation has little impact on its performance, achieving stable rotation accuracy and torque. This series bearing can be used in the rotation areas of both the outer and inner ring while the bearing dimensions are more diminutive.
The HCRB | HCRBC series bearing has a separable outer ring, and its inner ring is integrated with the main body. It is the full complement bearing without a cage. This series bearing is suitable for the place where the inner ring requires high rotation accuracy. The HCRBC series bearing has the same inner and outer ring structure as the HCRB series bearing, but the difference is that this series bearing has the cage.
